I thought today was Tuesday until about 11. But despite that little bit our day has gone quite well.
Both have done Bible reading (Lee: Exodus 38; Fox: Leviticus 4), Math (Ten Marks- Lee: 4 worksheets [40 questions]; Fox: Test [Intro to Algebra- will have to retake]), and PE (both did the elliptical machine; 12 and 17 minutes).
Lee has also done her Bible verse (Deut. 6:4-7), Grammar (Jensen's lesson 2), History/Geography (World Studies, 218-219 & SR; The Brendan Voyage to page 193 [written narration]), Latin (lesson 10 worksheet 3), Economics (Whatever Happened to Penny Candy? 1/2 of chapter 9). She is working on Greek (lesson 7) right now and then needs to complete Health (Fearfully & Wonderfully Made finish chapter 17), Devotional (Mere Christianity- try to get to page 110), and practice her trumpet for 30 minutes.
Lee wants to go back to ALEKS for math (I think this might be partially because when she accesses hints in Ten Marks it counts against her concept strength score but not in ALEKS). I will allow her to do that next week IF she has decided that it is what she really wants to do. But she can only do it until February 11, 2011, after which she will have to use Ten Marks (or just Life of Fred- which doesn't thrill her either).
So that has been our day up to this point. And I think it has gone well. Attitudes have been fair to very good and work has been done well. What more can I ask for? Ah, how about cookies? Great idea :) I think we will end our day by making cookies! :)
Sounds like a good day!!
