Catchy Title Goes Here…

That’s a reminder to come up with one but if it’s still there that means I failed miserably.

Let’s just start with this: there will be no Weekly Wrap-Up tomorrow because I cannot possibly wrap up a week that has been all Mondays. It’s not possible! Writing down each day’s misses fails almost-did-its ahem, excuse me, accomplishments would be quite difficult for me to do.

I’m going to blame it on my dh and my ds. That’s that. Not that it changes the week nor does the blame even truly fall on either of them. Nah. It’s just the way it is. Why would I blame them in the first place? They’re leaving Lee and I for an entire week. I’ve been without my dh for a few days {perhaps even a week} but never have I been without my Fox for a week. I’m going to be beside myself {actually I’ll be beside Lee } without BOTH of them! Getting my mind ready to get everything else ready has had me just out of sorts.

They leave on Tuesday, the 24th. That’s Fox’s 13th birthday. 13!! Needless to say, I’m just not ready for them to go. Or for him to be 13!

Honestly, I am not even sure if my Monday goals post will get posted- Yikes! We will have company for a few days and my computer time is usually limited when there’s company. I think we have a full weekend planned. After dh and ds return from their trip, then dh and I get to take a trip. To a place neither of us have ever been. There will be a lot of photos when I return. Trust me.

Besides all that, what’ve I been doing? Well, I’ve been working- working on my submissions to SchoolhouseTeachers.com {if you don’t know what they offer, almost everything! –you should have a look}, working on the illustrations for a cookbook {not my cookbook}, working on an ebook about Antonio Vivaldi {the research for this is so fascinating! It’s difficult to know when there’s ‘too much’} and apparently not working on school –at all. Cleaning here and there and working in the garden. I staked a few tomato vines as well as one of my bell peppers that was leaning. No photos of the garden but here are two of my flowers in the front of the house.

  

It’s been so hot that they aren’t doing so well. Growing still but turning brown. I cannot wait for the flowers in the back row to flower –they will be a wonderful red. The flowers on my daylily were a very nice surprise one morning this week. They only lived for a day.

For some reason along with the week being full of Mondays, it’s been full of insomnia as well. Perhaps I could blame dh and ds for that as well…anxiety over their leaving? No, I don’t think so. I don’t know what it is, though. I haven’t had coffee at all this week because first we ran out of milk and then out of sugar {we have both now but I just didn’t want to pick up the habit again –no headaches finally!}. When I am up and every one else is sleeping I feel …restless. Or as I told Lee today, incomplete.

As for my goals that were posted on Monday, I’ve only done one thing consistently –and I’ll take that one thing over everything else any week –and that’s read my Bible every day. The next I’d like to do better at is the water intake.

And now that I’ve taken a break from all my ‘work’, {sat here with some ice tea and chatted with whoever is listening} I suppose I better get back to it! Still have a bathroom to clean, a floor to mop, laundry to do, dinner to make, images to draw, books to read, research to do…etc….the list goes on and on…

I think at least dinner will be made
