Garden–Before the Planting

It might seem lame that the photos are all the same but I’ve added comments on them- different comments lol

Pegged off, upper two photos. Digging the pathways, bottom two. I don’t have the rest of the beds pegged off but I think I can figure their corners well enough.

I hit a concrete slab under my garden! I haven’t decided if it is a bad thing, or just a ‘thing’. The soil I took from the pathways and put into the beds make them deep beds. I know that is a good thing.

My attempts at ‘telling’ the sides.

A neighbor come over {two house away} and gave me some Canna flower bulbs (?). I’m going to put them in the front area with my other flowers that I got in May.

These were taken with my phone camera so aren’t very clear. And I got a splinter *sniff*.
