This is for my own personal record keeping but you’re welcome to read on. It is quite long. Year 6 is recorded first, as it was written, nothing corrected {unless auto corrected and I don’t catch it first- and I suppose some could even be my own mistakes that I don’t catch}, followed by Year 8, in the same format.

- I only remember one trial. Jesus was put before Pilate and Pilate found no wrong in Jesus. The people were given a choice between Jesus and the criminal Barabus. The people chose to save Barabus. Pilate tried to tell them that Jesus was innocent, but they insited on crucifying Jesus. Pilat washed his hands to show that the blood was on them not him.
3. Write 4 consecutive verses from memorized Scriptures.

I beesech you therefore bretheren by the mercies of God that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your resonable service.
Be not conformed to this world but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind that ye may prove what is that holy, and acceptable, and perfect will of God.
For I say unto you, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly the he ought to think, but to think soberly according as God has dealt the measure of faith.
For as we have many members in one body, all members have not same office.

The dragon was studded with gems and the room was full of treasure. Bilbo was invisible and was riddling the dragon. They were in a mountain cave which was the dragon’s home.}

Bible:
1. Describe your favorite character or event from your reading this term or this year.
- My favorite character from my reading this term/year is Joshua. In my mind he is always ‘young’, because you can’t really have old people leading the army, can you? He’s a man of action, leading Israel into battle, conquering other cities, other nations. I also like the events he played in, namely: spying on the Promised Land and bringing back the real news, the bringing down of Jericho, and the battle in which the sun stood still.
2. In your own words, why did Jesus speak in parables?
- Jesus spoke in parables for several reasons: one, because the hidden messages in the parables weren’t meant for everyone to understand, at least not right away; two, because it would make us think, because to just tell it as it is wouldn’t challenge us. A third reason perhaps is so that children can understand, because they ‘connect’ with stories.
3. Write four consecutive verses from either Colossians 3 or Romans 6.
- What shall we say then? shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized in Christ, were baptized into his death?
Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death, that like as Christ was risen from the grave by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
Writing:
Write two to four lines of poetry (from your reading or your own creation). *she chose her own
- May you have this dance? Indeed you may.
Gently take my hand and lead me through
The crowd to a spot alone, just me with you.
Place your hands just so, start to sway
Along to the music to feel faraway.
As we dance together, I see only you.
This emotion I’m feeling is something new.
There’s something special happening today.
The music comes to an end, but I don’t want to leave.
Let’s dance together for another song.
When it’s all over, I know I’ll grieve,
For I’ve found my partner; you belong with me.
Looking into your eyes, I can see you agree.
Dancing, together, is where we belong.
World History:
1. Write what you know about Johannes Kepler.
- Johannes Kepler was an astronomer in the 17th century. He introduced new concepts concerning to orbits of the planets. First, he said tha the planets did not move in perfect circles around the sun, but that they moved in ellipses, or irregular ovals. Kepler also said that the larger the planet was, or the further away from the sun, the slower their orbit was.
2. Describe the beginning of the Thirty Years’ War.
- The Thirty Years’ War started as a sort of religious war. It began in Germany, when the nobles chose a new king, who turned out to be Catholic, whereas the nobles were Protestant. The king tried to force his religion on the others, but just ended up getting kicked off the throne. He struck back when he was elected Holy Roman Emporer, and the Thirty Years’ War began.
Geography:
1. On a blank map, trace the route thus far of Kon-Tiki, labeling the countries and oceans.
2. On a blank US map, label as many states as possible.
3 Describe at least two places that Jules Verne writes about in “Around the World in 80 Days.”
- The first spot from ‘Around the World in 80 Days’ I’ll describe is the forest in India that Mr. Fogg and Passepartout have to travel through on an elephant because the train track wasn’t complete. It is thick, and dangerous. I imagine many trees around them. They first ‘met’ Mrs. Auda in the forest.
The second place is in the American Midwest, where they ran into bison, Indians, Mormons, and freak snow storms. Their adventures there are quite interesting and exciting.
:o I didn't give you permission to post up my answers for the world to see! *gasps* Lol, just kidding ;)
