Wow, so I’ve been up to not much lately. Wait, no. That’s not true at all. We didn’t have school this week, like we originally planned, because well, I’m sure there are reasons {I can think of two at the moment and they are good enough for me!}.
I started ‘work’ this week and have finished two reviews (here and here) {that was this week, right??}. I also did two book reviews (here and here). LOL, and in the realm of personal achievements, I washed all of my dishes. The laundry is a work-in-progress; I’m hopeful
Is it better to have sporadic blog posts or more consistent, steady posts? I’ve no idea! Lately I am missing out on my most favorite blogger’s posts. Although I have been online, it’s not been in my usual places. Taking ‘training’ classes for work {no, I’m not a tax professional- I do not know anything about taxes- unfortunately}, trying to sort out the changes taking place within the company that I am under contract as a volunteer {the company is still there and there will still be reviews for many different companies- just some ‘behind the scenes’ changes}, and updating my AO/HEO Kindle Ready Books website {I’ve gone through Years 0-4; still much to do}.
So, see, I have been up to some stuff. Also my tire was a fatality of my wonderful driving {in my defense, the piece of metal I drove over would not have been visible even if there was no snow!- I’m a good driver}. Finally, today, I tried out my Prismacolor Colored Pencils that my awesome hubby gave me for Christmas. What wonderful colored pencils!! Did you know that colored pencils…erase?!? How did I not know that?? Anyway, I colored a picture that Lee drew. She loved it Maybe I will share it tomorrow.
After discovering that the virus my computer had hid my files and didn’t destroy them {thanks to here and here}, our homeschool files have been restored and the scheduling can commence. Tomorrow. I had a few days this past week I could have done it but…I didn’t . I think we have enjoyed our vacation too much. The kids can help me tomorrow
So that’s what I’ve been up to- the week has just zoomed past. I’m linking this up at Weird, Unsocialized Homeschoolers and The Homeschool Chick. It’s been awhile
Oh well, there's always next week. :-) Sounds like you were productive in other areas anyway.
ReplyDeletePopping in from the HSMJ to say hi.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about zooming in and out. I wish I had a few extra hours a week to be on my blog and reading on line but I just don't in this curent season of life.
I am pleased to read you got your computer sorted out. Well done.
Have you heard of the 52 books in 52 weeks reading challenge ? I am about to start my first review.
Thanks for the links
Coming over to visit from THMJ. Nice to "meet" you!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad that your files were found on your computer! Wow, a virus that wipes out everything could really be devastating.
The colored pencils sound like fun! Are you going to post your masterpiece? :-)))
Glad you all had a good vacation and hope you have a wonderful and blessed rest of your weekend,
Lisa
It's been a busy start to 2012! (((HUGS)))
ReplyDeleteSo glad that you recovered the files. Shew!!
ReplyDeleteI've been a bit behind in my blogging and blog reading myself. If only there were more hours in the day.
Oh, nice! Missing files are a big frustration when it happens!
ReplyDeleteAnd I love Prismacolor! In fact, the ones I bought for our school year only last 1/2 the year! I need to purchased more!
Hi there again! Just following up on your comment on my blog. (You found me through Pinterest! Woot! LOL)
