Reading quickly (cause I really want to read them all but just don't have the time!) through the posts on blogs I follow, I came across Home Grown Families post about... Tattoodles.
AACK!! I don't care if it offends anyone (okay, slightly I care) but this is just WRONG. What will they have next? I honestly shudder to think about it. Oi vay!
Ridiculous. No question about it.
And here is her post on "What Message Are We Sending to Our Children". She has definite good points.
I'm glad we do not have tv and now I'm glad that we don't have a Toys R Us nearby!! But on the bright side...My mom posted about my stationery sets that I've been making for my Etsy shop. And I got to see a beautiful photo of The Poff Clan's newest member- he's 5 months old now! As well as a post of gratitude and thankfulness at mommyx12 about 4 little gifts that have blessed her life (her grandchildren). The verse she has at the beginning of this post is the one that I think of every time when I think of the great beings God has entrusted me with. Hey, and that ties back into the beginning of this post- sort of. :)
Blossom,
ReplyDeleteHow did I miss that you have an Etsy shop? I'm a stationery addict. It doesn't seem right that I would have not clued in on your business. :)
Those dolls...what a reminder that we can't just tell our children something is disgusting or inappropriate. WHY is so important. And it must be grounded in the Word and who we are in Christ.
Hugs across the miles!
@ Trisha- My Etsy shop has changed directions since I began it in 2007... but I think I've found what I really like to do! I love making the stationery sets! They are all done by hand...of course, I can't make the paper yet myself ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the hugs! :)
Thank you so much for sharing my post! I really appreciate the support :) I have grabbed your button on my right sidebar! It is so important for us to stand together and raise decent children :)

@ Melissa (Home Grown Families)- I've always enjoyed reading your blog and when I saw that post I was so shocked that I had to share! I really don't get out much. I'm a bit sheltered- I guess my kiddos are too...
