A Month of Thanksgiving- (19-22) Day #24

Branch Of Wisdom
Hosted by Branch of Wisdom

I still have a few minutes left of day #24 to call it that ;) Here are some more things I am thankful for:

Thanksgiving #19

I am thankful that there are people- mothers- who feel as I do when it comes to what we should be teaching our children. If only more were like that. I'm thankful for those mothers who watch over their children's moral character :) Their Godly character. See here.

Thanksgiving #20
I've said it before but I am thankful for my friend Christy. Yesterday she gave us about 6 bags of canned goods. And all good stuff! Peas, beets and too much a lot of creamed corn. My kids are so happy to see them all. And also she had a pair of pants and 2 sweaters that no longer fit her and wouldn't you know, they are my size. I was down to my last pair of jeans....we'll not mention why I am down to my last pair. I'm so thankful for the friendship I have with her and God's great discerning of what we need. The canned food and the clothes comes at a time when I was worried had it on my mind that I would need to purchase these things. And God provided for me. Once again.

Thanksgiving #21
I am so very thankful to have a wonderful husband that provides for me. I miss him tonight because he is out of town for work. But I am thankful that when I think of him, my heart still swells with love and I smile when I think of him. I am thankful that I do miss him. There are many that do not feel this way towards their spouse and I am ever thankful that God has blessed my marriage. There've been tough times but those were when we didn't look to God to lead us. We tried to do it all on our own. I am thankful for my wonderful husband. I hope he is sleeping well right now.

Thanksgiving #22
I'm thankful for the fact that everything good in my life I can turn back and think that God has done this for me. God is good.

  1. I love reading your blessings. I also had a similar experience in that past few weeks. Friends here and there have passed down shoes, church clothes, and homeschool stuff.

    IT was a blessing.
