This bell is on the side of the old (old) Torrington High School. I am not entirely sure when the school was in use but it apparently has been closed up for years now. It would be wonderful to utilize the building for something. I do not know if it is condemned or unsafe.
Here are some imprints in front of the old High School. I wonder the history behind these little feet. They look about the size of a 8 or 9 year old. A guess, of course.
None of the things so far had inscriptions or details so I don't know much about them. This bench, in person today, was an amazing color. I had never heard of Wyoming Community Gas before.
And my favorite photo of the day (besides the picture of Lee) is this one taken beside the Court House. The kids and I attended a Veteran's Day salute (or short ceremony?) last year at this spot and now when I pass this statue, it brings a special feeling to my heart. I really will have to get a picture of the War Memorial that the flag is flying over. "All gave some; Some gave all"
