From the back cover:
Your children are a blessing from God. A gift that brings an abundance of joy and the privilege of teaching them God’s ways. When they’re young their potential to learn is amazing. And because actions and beliefs go hand in hand, the lessons they learn from you now will shape their lives forever.
This wonderful book, with its easy-to-use story format, can help you teach the basic truths of the Christian faith to your children. They’ll learn right along with Caleb and Cassie that God’s ways are best –and that even as kids, they can live for His glory every day.

Each ‘chapter’ or story starts with a catechism. These are questions and answers, such as “Are there more gods than one?” and “There is only one true God.” The story that follows flows well with dialogue and descriptions of Cassie and Caleb, and their friends and family, in every day situations and how they think about God. I wasn’t sure what age-range this book was designed for so when I read the stories, I was a little surprised that they were so not babyish, I suppose. The boy, Caleb, is turning 8 in one of the first stories but I don’t know how old Cassie, his sister is. At the end of each story is a Let’s Talk and Let’s Pray box that pertains to the catechisms gone over in that story. It presents questions such as, “How do you feel when you read about Jesus preparing a place for you in heaven?” and “How does it make you feel to  know that God rules and defends you.” The purpose of the book is to get young children to remember the catechism. Remember them when they are young and they will know them when they are older.
I think this would probably be good for a Sunday school class or for a morning devotion with younger kids.
