What a great verse to go along with that picture. We studied Mary Cassat this year, and I enjoy her mother/child paintings.
ReplyDeleteI had been aware of Mary Cassatt and a few of her paintings but hadn't seen this one before. I saw it in the book "Mary Cassatt" by D. & D. Ankele (a compilation of Cassatt's works), and just loved it. The verse can be (and should be) applied to any situation but to me, this just fit so well.
