My thoughts:
I’ll be honest- it took me quite a while to get into the book. It didn’t really connect with me until about half way through. There wasn’t a particular reason that I can pinpoint but it was quite a ways in before I could turn pages with the time passing without my noticing.
Quite a few times in the story I thought I knew what was going on and what was going to happen next only to find out I was totally wrong. I like that in a story. There was a plot that I was totally oblivious to until almost the end. So I won’t give it away here
