Books, books, books…What I Want to Read

I am determined {very very much so} to read a lot this year. The Goodreads challenge last year was a good push but I started late in the year and then forgot about it. I ended up reading 25+ books in 2011. This year I want to read at least double that!
On my list so far:

1. Flatland: A Romance of Many Dimensions by Edwin Abbott
2. The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne
3. Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen
4. Sense & Sensibility by Jane Austen
5. Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte
6. History of Astronomy by George Forbes {really just need to finish it}
7. Future of Astronomy by Edward Charles Pickering
8. Space Trilogy series by C. S. Lewis
9. The Jungle by Upton Sinclair {just need to finish}
10. Concerning Christian Liberty by Martin Luther
11. Books by G. K. Chesterton
12. Gulliver’s Travels by Jonathan Swift {need to finish it}
13. The Holiness of God by R. C. Sproul {need to finish it}
14. Surprised by Laughter, the Comic World of C. S. Lewis by Terry Lindvall {just need to finish}

That’s what I have right now on my list. I am actually reading Surprised by Laughter by Terry Lindvall for a review but am enjoying it in spite of language sometimes over my head. I’ve also come across some other titles that I might add to my list for the year.
I have thought about doing the 52 books in 52 weeks challenge but here we are in the middle of week 2 or 3 and I’ve not finished one book…I think I will just try to read as many as I can and forgo the challenge. This time.
But I guess right now I should focus on feeding my family some dinner Books later…
