This week are onto Johann Sebastian Bach. On Monday we listened to
I like this piece, it is less intense, or perhaps it is the inclusion of the other instruments that helps lessen the intensity.
I’m searching for the book that Bach wrote and found this site that tells about The Well-Tempered Clavier. And although the kids didn’t read this page at wikipedia, I found it somewhat interesting (albeit, confusing at the same time). I also looked at this site for help with understanding (but I confess, I am musically challenged in many ways).
We’ve done two days of our study but will need at least a third day because there seems to be much more in the lesson on Bach than the previous composers. We will finish it tomorrow with time line and composer card info. And will listen to more selections.
How has your music/composer study been going? Join up with …a teaching heart… and the rest of us
