Saturday is for… Sweet Sisters!

Today I got a wonderful gift Smile My sister came up to visit me from Dayton, OH. She brought her husband and two kids. She also brought this:

Which I will attempt to fit into here:

Can you guess what pattern I am most fond of? Winking smile

It was rather funny- it took a family from out of town to show me around Cleveland, where I live. It was a great day. Time well spent- even though a lot of it was in the car Smile

We went to Ohio City where we went through the West Side/East Side Market.

We got to see a glass blower’s shop. It was hot in there- we didn’t stay long. The boys all stayed outside for fear of breaking something.

We also went to b. a. Sweetie- Largest Candy Store in the USA. And yes, I did indeed buy and eat candy. Going from not eating very much sugar to even a little bit much has me feeling a tad ill Sick smile

And of course, there are no photos of the family. How did that happen?? I brought the camera and managed to snap a few photos but none of us together. Well, next time, eh?

I had a great time with family! She said that the 4.5 hours isn’t too bad of a drive (coming from someone that said she wouldn’t go 4 hours) and she will visit again after the snow is done. Yay!

Now, if I could just get my other sweet sister to visit …. Winking smile

  5. Oh, that's so funny! We just visited a glass blower here in Maryland on Wednesday! (I haven't posted the photos to my blog yet, but I will do that today.)

I have that Corningware too, but not a set so fine as yours!
