NaNoWriMo Week 3

I’ve decided to make our ‘adventure’ through NaNoWriMo 2011 a weekly post! See our thoughts and progress each Tuesday during November.

This is week three:

Lee: Goal- 15,000; Progress-  11,154; Thoughts- I’m already falling behind! But it doesn’t matter because even if I get my words, it is only part of the whole story anyway. I will just keep going and not worry terribly about my word count.

Fox: Goal- 7,500; Progress- 3,725; Thoughts- *cricket chirp* hmm, it seems he is occupied with other things too much the last few days to have much in the way of ‘thoughts’ for NaNoWriMo… 

Me: Goal- 25,005; Progress- 14,954; Thoughts- LOL that’s what I think! I’m not sure what I was thinking that I had enough of a ‘story’ to write a novel! I’m still doing it but I think I will fall short of my goal unless I get a rush of ideas soon. I actually do not even like my original idea any longer. That’s pretty sad.

How are you doing with NaNoWriMo?

We’ve had a fun busy weekend so we didn’t type at all Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Today Fox typed a bit and Lee might still. I have a bunch of words waiting to be plunked out on the keys- just have a few things to get done before I can.
