What We Accomplished… Day #21 8/16/11

I sat down to write this up and thought to myself that we didn’t ‘do’ anything (but school) but I suppose I did. I went grocery shopping. Spent $155 on 60 items (an average of at least $2.56 per item). How does that happen? It used to be so much more for so much …well, actually almost twice as much product for the price! Many things were not purchased- scratched off the list- because they were just too expensive. Bleh.

But actually I like grocery shopping Smile While I was shopping the kids were playing the Wii. Their ‘reward’ for doing school in a timely manner… so I could go shopping. I also purchased A Kids Guide to Drawing America- Ohio for the kids online before I left. It can be used for any age, really. I looked at the sample pages and some reviews before I did and I think it will work just fine for learning about Ohio. Since we are moving there and they require it to homeschool, I decided, why not. It’s on sale right now, too! There are a lot of other books at the Ohio libraries to fill in any gaps that may occur. But I anticipate no problems Smile
