We sort of had school on Day #19, but not as was planned. BUT it was school! There was a lot of ‘language arts’ (a lot of reading), ‘history’ (Civil War documentaries were watched) as well as some ‘science’ (or nature study? watched dvd about cats) was done that day. But none of it was what was down on their to-do lists. Either way today is the 20th day of the school year 
We also had an early break last week. It will make this run a 7 week run instead of 6 week and according to my sCHedule (lol) we are behind a week…but …it was worth it

Language Arts: 30 minutes reading (Great Inventors & Their Inventions)
Foreign Language: First Form Latin (Lessons 16 & part of 17)
Gov’t/Economics/Civics/Logic: Whatever Happened to Penny Candy? (chapter 4)
History/Geography: What Everyone Should Know…(The Empire State Building…), Story of the World (Chapter 32 and maps), Around the World in 180 Days (Antarctica- page 7 [this was make up work])
Penmanship: Pictures in Cursive (Marcus Stone, “The End of the Story”)
Actually was acceptable for a “Monday”. Here’s to a good Tuesday
