Well, I didn’t get to have coffee this morning with my friend, sniff. But it’s okay. We cleaned house this afternoon because someone was looking at the house. I also made biscuits for a ‘snack’ after we got back from playing at the park. I love the weather outside lately. After 4pm it is wonderful! The wind is just the perfect breeze and the coolness of it is amazing.
I was at the dentist this afternoon for 2 hours getting two crowns and a cavity filled. I am officially fixed up! I’ve been working on getting my teeth to the point where my next visit is just a check up for 10 years. Finally there
Fox had spent the night at a friends last night. That’s not such a big deal. But he must not have slept at all while he was there. He fell asleep after he got home around 11am…slept until I got done at the dentist around 4ish. I was not a happy camper. It was funny though, at one point after that he was doing his school work and I could see that he was going to pass out. He gets up, lays on his bed and is out. He woke up just a few minutes later and resumed school work. Must have been a power nap lol.
Lee was doing quite well in the doing things she needed to do today…as long as it wasn’t school. She watered the backyard (without being told), swept the floors (after just a small reminder) and was so helpful that she cleaned the bathroom herself (wow). But school… oh goodness not school work! You’d think she would have caught the plague if she did it. No, she didn’t throw a fit or anything but she was definitely trying to use her laser vision to incinerate her books…more work for her to make up tomorrow

History/Geography: Story of the World (chapter 31), What Everyone Should Know… (Penicillin, written narration) [it was really funny today he said, “I don’t think I get enough History… all I have is Story of the World.” I reply, “You also have What Everyone Should Know and Complete Book of Marvels (which is more geography but has history as well).” “Yea, true. Okay…” “Why do you say that?” “Well, I was thinking; I got DVDs from the library on the Civil War and I thought I might be allowed to watch them for history.” Psssh, of course I let him watch them… one thing we have a lot of in this house is History

I worked very diligently on my research paper today. Getting back into the topic- seems like I had to reread everything!
So tomorrow… tomorrow… I will have coffee with my friend
We accomplished NOTHING today. Life is getting to me. I did make it to our religious meeting tonight. And although I was there full of anxiety and on the verge of a full-blown panic attack.. I felt better by the time it was over.. So that was the one big positive of the day.
