So I posted a couple of days ago about our week long ‘vacation’ that took us through Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana and into Ohio. I mentioned that I was able to take a rental car for the drive. I’m quite glad that I had that peace of mind!
But it got me thinking about my car. It is 4 years old and has almost 100,000 miles on it now. Gasp. It is a good car right now…but it won’t last too long, I worry. Since we are moving, I thought I would check out some good cars for future reference.
Illinois is only two states from Ohio so a Honda Dealer in Chicago, such as http://www.ednapletonhonda.com, would not be too far to drive- I don’t think. I’ve often thought about a Honda CR-V because I like SUVs but I’ve never had one. The car I have now is a Dodge Caliber and I love it. Dh says that if he’d had his druthers, I would have gotten a Dodge Journey.
Well at any rate, I don’t know that I will be getting a car too soon but it never hurts to look at the options. If you are interested in knowing more about a specific car, you might want to look at this car dealers blog. They break down the specifics. I was looking for more on a Dodge Journey but right now they only have a few posts about Chargers and Avengers. Perhaps soon they will include more posts
