It was a smooth day..again This time no ‘work’ (ahem, there were still chores to do!), just school.
Lee was up and showered before I was! Still didn’t get up with my alarm… just not sure why it’s taking me so long to get into my routine. And I’ve been working on this for almost a month in case you were thinking I wasn’t giving myself enough time
Bible: Reading (John 8), Verse (Romans 6:1, 2, read, write, recite). Was to start the commentary on Mark but… didn’t happen.
Math: Life of Fred Beginning Algebra (reviewing through chapter 4, lesson 34 in the Home Companion- making a list of concepts need to review before continuing on. We took a break of over a month before school was out)
History/Geography: None (should be How the Heather Looks and The Life of Christopher Columbus)
Science: Biology (pages 3-5 and vocabulary)
Language Arts: Jensen’s Grammar (Test 9), History of English Literature (chapter 30)
Gov’t/Economics/Civics/Logic: Plutarch’s Lives (The Gracchi), Utopia (first 1/2 of Intro)
Foreign Language: First Form Latin (review to Lesson 14- only 2 words not sure on and one Latin saying!); no Greek
Fox did well, too. And a good attitude the entire time
Bible: Reading (Mark 1), Verse (Psalms 119:1, 2, read, recite [he already has it memorized from a different time having this as a memory verse, oops, so didn’t make him write it])
Math: Khan Academy (working on brushing up skills [decimals today]) 20 minutes
History/Geography: What Everyone Should Know About the 20th Century (pages 70-71, written narration); no Geography (should have been Complete Book of Marvels)
Science: Murche’s Science Reader VI (Lesson 1, vocabulary)
Language Arts: Hobbit (pages 3-17), Read Princess and the Goblin for 30 minutes
Foreign Language: First Form Latin (review to Lesson 14- only 2 words not sure on!)
Penmanship: Pictures in Cursive
Beside school the kids pulled weeds. Lee watered the back yard and made our picnic lunch. Fox helped me wash some dishes. We also went to the park to meet up with friends. I was supposed to do some stuff with the car (get the VIN inspected so that we can get our tags renewed) but uh, yea, before I knew it, it was after 5pm. A task for tomorrow I did get my Bible reading done for both Bible in 90 and Ministry of Motherhood. Unfortunately, Facebook seems to have a way of distracting me so I played games for awhile before posting to my MoM group. Then when I went to, it froze up. Lol… something to do later today
Gives me time to think on the reading more
And the weather was perfect for me! It was overcast all day and it suited me wonderfully. Kept the house cool all day. Ahhh.
