Hmmm, I’m not sure when I last participated in a WW but decided it was time to again
This past week was not terribly ‘exciting’ I must admit but it was a good week nonetheless. We had family visiting from out of town (out of state actually). DH’s youngest brother and sister visited from Sunday, July 3nd until Friday, July 8th. We didn’t go anywhere really while they were here. There really isn’t much to do in this town anyway.
The entire week was really very laid back. It was supposed to be the first week back to school but since they were here (and I don’t like people observing our schooling lol- it makes me self-conscious) I was a nice mom and postponed the first week. And in order to not mess up my pre-determined school year, we will go five weeks before taking a break for a week. The kids had better like that
I received my Lyra Aquacolor water-soluble coloured crayons (Great Britain English lol) from Amazon. It’s always fun when you forget that you ordered something and a package shows up. I tried them out asap but I really need a smaller paint brush to be able to create with them. They are so smooth and vibrant. I’m very glad with my choice
I’ve personally read quite a few books this past week. I’ve posted reviews on this blog (perhaps you’ve seen them) and really have enjoyed each one. Last night, thanks to dd’s urging, I read the book Timeless by Alexandra Monir. I enjoyed it so much that I had to finish it in one sitting. That ‘sitting’ was a few hours, ahem.
I also have started back at my incomplete senior project/paper. I have until September 12th to finish it. I am having difficulty getting back into the groove of it though.
The kids spent a lot of time with their aunt and uncle, just chillin’. Next week will be different. Hopefully it won’t be traumatic and terrible!
The house was shown twice I believe this past week but still no real bites. God works in His time… and it’s difficult to be patient.
Well, that was our week (rather mostly what my week looked like lol). Perhaps there will be more ‘excitement’ next week.

Sounds like a nice week...it's always great to be around family. My children love being around their aunts/uncles and cousins! Dropping by and following you through reader...I'm a newbie on the crew and can't wait to get to know you!

We have had lots of company this month and also live in a small town. I feel bad that there isn't much for them to do, but we usually end up just enjoying being laid back and catching up so in the end, there's nothing to feel bad about. Glad you had a great week. I look forward to reading more as I get to know my fellow crew mates better!

I'm glad you liked the Aquacolor crayons! Sounds like you used your GC for a good choice. Hanging out with family is always nice, and isnt it great you can post-pone school for a family visit? Good luck with your new year!
