Our first day didn't get completed. Lol, I'm not surprised but not entirely worried either. We did have to travel 1 1/2 hours today to go to the bank (yea, that rarely happens!) so the kids only did a few subjects before we left. We had about an hour of goal setting this morning. We've decided we will take Monday mornings to re-evaluate their goals (what they have accomplished, what they feel they need to revise). On Mondays the library is open later so they aren't so pressed to get their school work done early.
Lee got her Bible reading and verse done, completed the assignment for World Studies (7 questions that require complete sentences about did her in!), began on Jensen's Grammar, beginning of Lesson 10 in Latin, and PE (heehee, that's Wii Sports- today was boxing and tennis). Fox completed his assignments of Bible reading and verse (he wrote it so nicely!), This Country of Ours (Stonewall Jackson died- sad), Complete Book of Marvels (about the pyramids 'today'- you know, back in the 1940s), also did Latin and PE, as well as The Greatest Story Ever Told. They are working on Greek right now and they both still have just a few things left for the day. I suggested we move the 'to be completed' things over to tomorrow but Lee is insistent that if we do that she will have 'two million' things to do.
