I'm busy lately but I'm also antsy. I want to do something out of the ordinary or extraordinary. I'm not entirely sure what though!
So, any suggestions? What do you do when you are getting, well, stuck in a rut?
And I want to do another giveaway...something really neat and cool and awesome. Of course I may have to settle for 'free', as in "hey, it's free! sign up!" or something like that...
Well, it depends - are you antsy about hoemschool, life around the house, or something else all together? Give us more details so we can help!
ReplyDeleteFor example, when I'm stuck in a rut with homeschool I grab something totally new and we dive into it for a few days. It may be crafts/creating, spending time in the dirt, or simply learning about a fun topic just because we can.
When I'm stuck in a rut in the house we rearrange furniture, change routines, declutter, or bake something new.
I said something like this to a friend yesterday. Hubby and I are just "stuck in a rut" (routine) kind of people. Mostly, I am okay with that, but an adventure now and then does seem in order.
ReplyDeleteMy weekend is off to a peachy start as all of my kids (little and adult) are gone for the day!! :) Peace and quiet reign!
@ Tristan- Rearranging the furniture is a great idea!! Homeschool is alright- I can't change it or I might go crazy lol. Baking is good too! Thanks for the suggestions!
ReplyDelete@ Lori- I think a quick trip is a good idea. Maybe we will go for a drive today or tomorrow...just go a different route, somewhere we've not been before.
Thank you for the good ideas!
We usually take a day trip to somewhere we dont go very often like a different town, river, park or other something like that with in an easy driving time.
ReplyDeleteOr just the long way home...
Or rearrange the furniture, bedrooms or yard...
Hum... I'm sick of sticks! Ok, so that had nothing to do with your post, or did it? Hum... I took off and watched a movie two days in a row! I seldom do that...
ReplyDeleteDo something you haven't done for a while but enjoy doing...
