Yea, so yesterday was a blur :) I can't write out right now our "What We've Accomplished Today" because I just don't have it in front of me and it's just a blur! It was a good day though...I will update on our WWATs on Friday with the Weekly Wrap-Up probably.
I'm recovering slowly from my head/throat cold thing. Ugh. I'm already fuzzy in the head and this doesn't help!
I'm also doing a 'custom order' for my mom who sells hair sticks (beautiful ones, I might add!). So that is taking up a little of my time. Fortunately, I enjoy what I'm making :)
I posted two book reviews at my homeschoolblogger blog- if you'd like to check them out. Unfortunately I always feel that I can't add in as much detail as I'd like because of word limits (no one likes long reviews??). I'm up for reviewing Illegals: The Unacceptable Cost of America's Failure to Control Its Borders and In His Image Devotional Bible NLT. That first one I had to think long about if I wanted to review it. I'm not much of the kind of person to get 'involved' with political issues. But this is an issue that everyone seems to be talking about (okay, my kids aren't!) so I thought I would read this book. The other book: I just love devotionals. I don't have any of my own, really. I just usually use the KJV Bible.
I am also up for reviewing The Write Foundation from the TOS Crew and am uh, a little nervous about that! It'll be fine...watch for a review on that in November. You can see my TOS Crew Reviews (past and upcoming) on the sidebar.
So I guess that is it for today...will be back...uh, sometime! Have a great Wednesday (and Thursday and Friday if I don't see you :) !)
I left you a comment then it booted me off so I wil repeat it.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to read your review on the devotional.

ReplyDeleteIf it weren't so far between Wyoming and Indiana I'd think you and are struggling with the same head thing. It stinks!!!
Praying that you feel better soon!

Thanks Heidi...it does seem to be going all around!
ReplyDeleteChrissy, I hope the book is good! I've never found one I really couldn't live without...
