We did all but Church History today and we might still do that yet. Here's what we did do:
Together:
Bible: Matthew 16 (but I think that we have already read that chapter--oh well can't hurt to read it again!).
Spanish: Poca A Poca; Parte Primera: Leccion Primera: 3. Frases Utiles (we reviewed the previous Spanish first).
Science: Order & Reality; 1.2 pages 9-13. Types of soil; chemical and physical weathering. We are still planning on doing the experiment from last week...
Fox:
Reading: ALW
Lee:
Literature: Bede's Ecclesiastical History of the English People; week 1 reading. She was supposed to write down unfamiliar words, people and place-names as well as put events on the timeline...She did not do that...*insert rolling-eyes face here*.
Math: LP710; pages 45-48; decimal fractions
Logic: TFD; Lesson 15: Equivocation.
Reading: Watership Down
She also played on A Kid's Math site later in the day.
We were going to focus on pulling weeds today and baking a couple of cakes to decorate for 4H...um, no way! It was so hot in the house and way hotter outside I was not going to turn on the oven. The weeds will just have to wait. As for the cakes, well, it'll get done. Perhaps one of these days it will rain :) It'll cool it down that's for sure! With the way the weather has been going, we are due for some rain. So that's that and now it's time to just hang out.
