I can't even remember where I came across this resource and I haven't used it yet. I have looked at it enough to say to myself that we would be using some of it next year for our Bible Study but I hadn't actually looked at it.
*Edited: I found this on AO's website. It recommends it for a Bible resource for all years (except perhaps Yr0).
Padfield's Free Bible Class Books.
Put up by Church of Christ, Zion, Illinois, USA, you can read more about the Church here. More specifically about the 'authors' of Padfield.com.
Looking for their 'creed', I did not find it lined out as I did for some other churches*.
But it is set out, in a way, on the page 'what to expect' if you visit the Church of Christ in Zion. I wanted to see if their beliefs countered my own and from that page, I do not feel that they do.
The resources that I personally am going to be using are the Topical Studies, Handouts & Aids, and others from the Free Bible Class books list. I had mentioned that I felt okay with their beliefs but I will still examine closely the resources I choose so that I don't inadvertently let something in that I am not comfortable with. Here is a great part of the site: Bible Land Photographs. It was mentioned that David Padfield took many trips to Israel, Jordan, Turkey, Greece, Italy and Egypt that enabled him to take put these on the web.
It looks like it will be a useful resource for our family. :)
